This course is ideal for anyone wanting to start a career in beauty therapy. It will suit school leavers or those looking to change career or progress into the industry.

What will I study?

You'll learn how to give various beauty therapy treatments such as facial skincare, manicure, day make-up and basic corrective make-up. You'll learn through groupwork, lectures, industry visits and guest speakers.

The beauty industry needs skilled staff. This introductory course will teach you the skills and techniques needed for entry on to a higher-level course in beauty therapy. You'll be taught in our beauty therapy studios by people with high-end experience. Employers such as Ellisons Hair and Beauty, House of Famuir, Capital Hair & Beauty, Dermalogica and others will give you an insight into the industry, and offer opportunities and experience.

Where can this course lead?

This course prepares you for salon work and self-employment as a therapist.

  • keen interest in the beauty therapy industry
