This course follows from the HNC, and is the next step towards studying our popular BA Accounting Degree run in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland, and a future career in Accounting or Finance.
This course will start in August 2022.
- Third year entry to the BAcc Accounting Degree at South Lanarkshire College in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland
- Third year entry into an Accounting Degree at another Scottish University
One or more of the following:
- 1 Higher
- A relevant programme of National Units at Intermediate 2/National 5
- NC Accounting
- Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant subject
- Equivalent recognised qualification
- Relevant work experience

What Will I Study?
You’ll learn the skills for working in an Accounting environment or progressing to the BAcc Accounting. You’ll learn about financial accounting and recording financial information. This course is recognised by professional Accounting bodies, such as the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). You’ll learn through work placement, group work, lectures, industry visits and guest speakers.
