We offer degree programmes in Arts and Humanities, Business and Management, Computing and ICT, Childhood and Youth Studies, Education, Engineering and Technology, Environment, Health and Social Care, Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Psychology, Science, Social Sciences and many more subject areas. Our unique Open Degree programme also allows students the freedom to choose from a variety of modules across different subject areas and design a qualification that reflects your interests and aspirations.
We recognise the value of your college qualification, and students who have completed a HNC or HND, or other qualifications at SCQF Level 7 or above, can apply totransfer credit to an Open University degree. We award up to 120 credits for a HNC and up to 240 credits for a HND, reducing the amount of time it will take to complete your OU degree. You can even apply to transfer credit from incomplete college qualifications if you have passed individual units.
