Hairdressing student Sharon McCurdy has secured competition success once again, by winning gold at the Wella Xposure final in London, recently. Sharon was praised for her outstanding work and creativity in her category, taking the top prize against competition from all over the UK.
Last month Sharon also won two bronze awards at ‘The British Hair & Beauty Awards 2021’. Sharon was awarded accolades in both the Best Bridal Special Occasion category and the Rising Star of the Year category.
The British Hair and Beauty Awards was created to celebrate the staff and management of salons across the UK who leave us all feeling and looking great.
Sharon said if her success “I am thrilled to have been honoured with a gold at the Wella Xposure final in London. I have followed the competition’s progress over a number of years and am delighted that my showcased designs were acknowledged in this way.”
Sharon has recently completed her HNC in Hairdressing and aims to expand her skills and industry knowledge, as she’s just enrolled at the College again on the HNC Fashion Make-up course.
