Happitots Nursery (part of the Bertram Nursery Group) takes children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.
The Nursery is based on campus and is accessed by a separate, secure entrance.
Happitots Nursery is an approved nursery within the South Lanarkshire Childcare Partnership.
In October 2019 Happitots Nursery was awarded a prestigious Childcare Certificate from daynurseries.co.uk. The nursery, is now a top-rated nursery in Scotland with the highest possible rating on Day Nurseries website of 10 out of 10. The nursery achieved an ‘excellent’ standard from almost all reviews.
DayNurseries.co.uk, a UK leading nursery review website, judges nurseries across Scotland based on reviews and feedback directly from families. It takes into account a range of factors – including the outdoor space, learning opportunities, resources, cleanliness, care from nursery staff, food and nutrition, activities provided for the children and overall management of the nursery. DayNurseries.co.uk has published 138 parent and guardian reviews from families of the children who attended Happitots Nursery.

Education Scotland have recently inspected the Nursery and awarded the following grades:

- The curriculum – GOOD
- Improvement through self-evaluation – GOOD

Help with the cost of childcare
If you are a student at the College, you may be eligible to apply for help with the cost of registered childcare. Assistance maybe available for those periods when you are in a timetabled class or on a timetabled work placement if these costs are not already covered by Tax Credits, DWP Lone Parent Grant, Government funded childcare places. Funds are cash limited and there is a maximum amount payable.
