It’s important to feel safe whilst you’re cycling…
Cycling Scotland has a useful free app which will help both new and returning cyclists brush up on the essential skills needed for safe cycling and increase your confidence.
We’re more than happy to help with route planning if you’re thinking of cycling to college. There are a couple of different ways we can do this. Route planning advice is available at the cycle hub (see below) which runs from 11:30am until 1pm on Thursdays. Maps and other route planning resources are given out at the hub free of charge.
Some other great online route planning resources include:
Cycle Streets has a great interactive map for route planning
Sustrans provides a map of the national cycle network
Strava is an app where you can get info about other people’s cycle routes
