Construction Management

Why should I study construction?

There’s a continuing need for skilled construction workers and with earning potential of up to £65,000 per year for experienced construction or site manager, there is no better time to take that step up to management level within the industry.

On entry to management level positions within the industry, earning potential is upwards of £27,000 per year, rising in line with experience and skill level.

After studying our construction management courses you could supervise and direct operations on a construction project to make sure the building or structure is completed safely, on time and within the budget.

You’d manage the project on behalf of another company, your client. You’d lead and motivate the construction team and sort out any problems that arise during the project.

On small sites you might have full responsibility for the whole project. On larger sites you may be in charge of a particular section and report to a senior site manager.

What jobs can I get in this area?

Studying construction management will help you develop a career in the industry at management level. You can get work as a site manager or supervisor in the construction trade.
