Course Outline:

With 102,000 vacancies reported in the UK between April and June 2021 employers are looking for experienced staff and even increasing wages to attract more people into the industry. The hospitality industry is projected to continue to grow by 4% over the next ten years, which will mean a continued increase in job opportunities. This course will give you the skills and knowledge for a management role in this sector. You’ll gain the skills to progress into employment or second year of a university degree.

Education Progression:

Hospitality degree or a BA in hospitality business management (University of the West of Scotland) at New College Lanarkshire

Entry Requirements:

One or more of the following:

      • – 2 Highers
      • – NC Hospitality Operations at SCQF level 5 or 6
      • – Relevant SVQ at SCQF level 5 or 6
      • – Equivalent recognised qualification- Relevant work experience
      • Acceptance may depend on interview
