Context

Section 95 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 requires every relevant authority to publish an annual report setting out the numbers of asset transfer requests received and their outcomes.

The first reporting date is by end June 2018.

In future years, this reporting will take place as part of the college’s normal annual reporting process

Here are our outcomes:

How many asset transfer requests were received?

No asset transfer requests were received.

How many requests were agreed to or refused?

None –please see the previous question.

For requests agreed to, have they resulted in transfer of ownership, lease or conferral of other rights?

N/A Please see above.

For appeals relating to requests made to the relevant authority, how many have been allowed, dismissed, or have resulted in any part of the authority’s decision being reversed or changed?

N/A. Please see above.

Where decisions have been reviewed, how many have been confirmed, modified or substituted by a different decision?

The college is planning to incorporate Asset Transfer requests and their outcomes into its normal Annual Reporting process from 2019 onwards.  This will help promote the use of asset transfer requests and indicate how community transfer bodies may be supported to make requests.
