This form is for current SLC students applying for Erasmus+ outbound mobility projects. Please consult with your Course Tutor if you're unsure about anything or email international@slc.ac.uk

Instructions to apply and fill in this form:

  • Complete all applicable sections of the form fully and clearly
  • Form must be fully completed
  • Complete applications must be submitted before the deadline and with the knowledge of your Course Tutor

You must submit the application form by 7th December 2017. 

Incomplete applications won't be considered.

If details have not been yet finalised, please provide as much information as you can at this stage (e.g. country/ type of work, whether your host will provide insurance; whether you will be paid etc.)

Complete this section if you will be enrolled in a study programme at a partner university or college. Leave blank if you are going on a Traineeship.

 



6. FINANCIALS

6.1 WIDENING PARTICIPATION

For students going on STUDY exchange only - A supplementary grant may be paid to students defined as disadvantaged by the relevant authorities and are eligible for full grants and loans.

UK students: In the UK this will normally apply to students from households with an annual income of £25,000 or less. Please be prepared to supply a copy of the most up-to-date loan/grant letters in your possession at the time of application as any means-tested funding will be evidenced here. The International Office will request this information from you in due course.

EU students (non UK): You must provide evidence of and information on your home country’s criteria for disadvantage plus evidence of how your financial circumstances meet these criteria i.e. income evidence for your household and confirmation of the make-up of your household. Original documents and their translation in English should be submitted with explanatory notes or declarations as required.

Applications will be assessed on a confidential and case-by-case basis, based on the information you provide below and the documents that you provide to support your case for additional support. We may come back to you when assessing to discuss/request further information in order to ensure fair and transparent assessment and allocation.

 

7. STUDENTS WITH SUPPORT NEEDS

This is not a compulsory section but this information helps us assess your circumstances and ensure adequate support is provided during your experience abroad. All information provided here is held in confidence.

8. Data Protection Statement

South Lanarkshire College is registered as a data controller and subscribes to the data protection principles as contained in the Data Protection Act 1998. By submitting this application form, you consent to South Lanarkshire College holding and processing your personal data for all purposes connected with you application and studies in the College and with the College's statutory, funding and business requirements. This will include the submission of personal data from, Award bodies, the Scottish Funding Council and other relevant bodies including, but not limited to, Skills Development Scotland and other similar bodies.
