Qualifications

The Scottish Qualifications Authority, or SQA as it is more commonly known, is the main accreditation body for qualifications in Scotland.

Further information on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework can be found on the Scottish Qualifications Authority website  www.sqa.org.uk The usual progression route for students is to start at NQ level and progress, if they wish, to HNC then HND level study and then to university to complete a degree although some students will start at HNC level. These qualifications include: NQ / SGA:   National Qualification Units which may lead to a Scottish Group Award Unit and SGA Levels include
