A high proportion of our students have a job when they leave college and we have links with employers who come into College to recruit when they have vacancies.
JobsearchTo assist with jobsearch, packs are available in the Learning Centres on CV writing, job application letters, preparation for interviews, etc. Vacancies notice boards are constantly being updated with both full-time and part-time seasonal vacancies as well as requests for volunteers. JobCentre Plus will assist with jobsearch for both full-time and part-time vacancies. SOLVE have a weekly presence in the College to assist those who are looking to gain experience through voluntary work, prior to entering the job market. A jobs fair is held in the College in May each year, with many large and small employers attending with recruitment and information stands. www.s1jobs.comwww.employME.com
