At South Lanarkshire College we aim to provide quality education and training for individuals and groups throughout business, industry and the local community, and the College staff is central to the achievement of this aim.



Having successfully maintained Investors In People accreditation for several years, South Lanarkshire College is now one of the small number of organisations in the UK to have achieved IIP Gold standard.

We actively encourage staff to continually develop their professional knowledge and skills. Communication, consultation and participation in decision making are fundamental aspects of the College approach to Human Resource Management. Investors in People Gold Standard Award

South Lanarkshire College has become the first organisation in Scotland to be recognised as a full ‘Investor in Diversity’.  The College achieved the Level 2 Investors in Diversity award in recognition of its’ positive and proactive work in all areas of equality, diversity and inclusion.
