UK Green Gown Awards| 3.11.11

South Lanarkshire College won this year's UK Green Gown Award for "Colleges and smaller institutions" at an Awards Ceremony held in the Grand Connaught Rooms, London on Thursday 3 November.

The Green Gown Awards, now in their 7th year, recognise exceptional initiatives being taken by universities and colleges across the UK to become more sustainable.  This category recognises environment-related initiatives which contribute to sustainable development.

The College was shortlisted for the award along with Blackpool and The Fylde College, Coleg Gwent, The Sheffield College and University College Cork (UCC).
