First Minister Visits College| 04.05.11

The Scottish Parliament May election campaign trail reached South Lanarkshire College today with a visit from First Minister, Alex Salmond.  The Minister accompanied by local MSP Linda Fabiani was greeted by the College Principal, Stewart McKillop and Depute Principal, Angus Allan before being taken on a tour of the College and being introduced to the College Senior Management Team and students from across the College.

With a particular focus by the College on renewable energy awareness and working in partnership with industry the Minister toured the state-of-the-art Micro Renewables teaching area and the College Low Carbon House.
