Inclusiveness Project |
Free training courses delivered in the CommunityAs part of a new and exciting initiative, The Inclusiveness Project, South Lanarkshire College is currently delivering FREE employability and vocational training courses in community locations to South Lanarkshire residents who have been unemployed for at least 6 months, and have encountered barriers to accessing employment. To date, over 230 people have benefitted from the project thanks to a wide network of partner agencies who all contribute together to prepare and progress participants for the world of work. The project is helping prepare for future demands of employers seeking to recruit, whilst helping individuals develop personal and vocational skills, included in customised demand-led programmes aligned with current and projected skills shortages. The programme is focused on employability skills support and assistance with progression into employment, training or further education.
