Staff
In addition to holding appropriate degree or vocational qualifications, the majority of lecturing staff hold a Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE) or other teaching qualification. Those members of staff involved in the delivery of Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) hold the D32, 33, 34 qualifications or are working towards the A qualifications - Assessor and Internal Verifier Awards.

Investors in People (IiP)
In 1997, the College was awarded Investor in People status, and was successfully reassessed in 1999, 2000, 2003, and again in January 2007, demonstrating the College's commitment to the development of its staff, a vital part of the success of the College as a whole.
Learndirect
Since March 2002, the College has held approval from Learndirect Scotland for the branding of a Learning Centre.
